St. Paul’s Church has stood at the corner of Johnson Street and South Railway Street since 1893. It was built as a Methodist church and remained so until 1925, when it became part of the amalgamation of Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregationalist Churches that formed the United Church of Canada.
Today, our congregation of 30-50 people meets most Sundays during the year at 11:00 AM for worship and fellowship for all ages. We are a community of disciples of Jesus Christ, seeking to follow in his way, and serve in this area with compassion and care.
If you are seeking a community where you can explore Christian faith, social justice, or community service, in a friendly and open environment, this might be a place for you.
We are an Affirming Community that welcomes the full participation of all people regardless of age, gender, gender identity, ability, sexual orientation, race, or social or economic circumstance.
Rev. Paul DuVal
Minister, St. Paul’s United Church
