All of the work of St. Paul’s is carried by teams of volunteers. People commit to the teams one year at a time, and everyone is welcome to join a team that interests them. To send ideas or correspondence to any team, contact the church office and it will be passed along.

Responsible for everything that relates to worship and the worship space: Communion, Baptism, banners, music, pulpit supply and the sound system. This team works with the minister.

Watches over the congregation in a pastoral way: visiting, sending cards and making calls through illness, hospital stays and other concerns. This team also oversees the Evergreen and Westview Lodge devotional services, working with the minister to care for the congregation’s pastoral needs.

All churches are owned by The United Church of Canada and held in trust by each congregation. The trustees safeguard all the assets of the church (the land, building, furniture and fixtures, investments and monies) and ensure the church has the structure, policies and procedures to run well.

Primarily responsible for the support and oversight of the full and part-time staff of the church. The M&P Committee helps ministry personnel, lay employees and members of the community of faith build and maintain healthy relationships.

Responsible for the financial business of the church and the maintenance of the property: caretaking, snow removal, insurance, the Snazzy Seconds contract and signing authority. The team keeps the congregation informed of where the church stands financially.

Sees that spiritual learning opportunities are available to our church youth members: staffing and curriculum ideas for the weekly Sunday School lessons, and a yearly mission project supported by our congregation. The minister is part of this team.
Spiritual Formation
The St. Paul’s G.I.F.T. group is a group of women who get together several times a year for fellowship, food and fun, now in our 26th year. We are also happy to assist wherever we can at St. Paul’s and in our community.
