Many of you have asked about a study group. I am suggesting a 3-step process:
- If you are interested, please contact Maxine at the church office, 204-534-6347, (leave a message if needed) and get on the list. Please leave your name, phone number and email address.
- I will set aside Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the CE room, for the beginning of a 5-week study, November 3 to December 1, using the small church issue of Broadview, that we have in our office. We will also share other ideas and thoughts for adult faith growth.
- If you are unable to come November 3, let the office know and we will look for alternative times and places

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of long-time member, Arva Ellen Fuller (nee Whitfield), on October 13, 2026 at Evergreen Place, Boissevain MB. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at St. Paul’s United Church, Boissevain MB. Luncheon will be held at the Boissevain Community Centre following the service.
November is the month that all churches collect for Christmas Cheer. For the month of November, there will be collection box in the vestibule for these items. Thank you.
Once again, you have the opportunity to purchase a 2027 United Church calendar featuring 12 United Churches from various parts of Canada. Last year, this calendar was offered to you to purchase as it featured St. Paul’s United Church on the month of February. The deadline to order is October 31, 2026. You can call Maxine at the church office to order, 204-534-6347, (leave a message if I’m not available). The cost will depend on how many we order. They will not be any more than $10.00.
St. Paul’s Sheet Set Fundraiser – We are having a sheet set fundraiser for St. Paul’s United Church. Orders will be open from November 1-16, 2026 with delivery approximately December 1st. Order forms are available at the church office, in the sanctuary and from Property and Finance Team, Marsha Clyne, Brenda Austin and Judy Adams. Any questions, please give us a call. Prepayment of your order is required. These sheet sets make “A Great Christmas Gift”.

October is food collection month for the Boissevain Food Pantry. There will be a collection box in the vestibule at the church. Thank you in advance.
Stewardship letters will be ready for pick up in the vestibule on Sunday, October 18th and 25th. After the 25th, remaining letters will be mailed. Please only take your own unless authorized by someone else to pick up theirs. Thank you.

The Pastoral Care Team Prayer Circle is at your service! If you or someone you know is in need of supportive prayers, please reach out to one of the Pastoral Care Team members to be added to the list. Your request is kept confidential and you provide as much or as little information as you would like.

Prayer Box – there is a prayer box in the vestibule by the table. Anyone wishing to request prayers for themselves or others please drop a note in the box.
Please be reminded to contribute to The Grateful Box as a thank you to God for birthdays, baptisms, anniversaries and other events that occur in our lives. The funds will be used for emergency purposes.
Anyone who needs to change their PAR amount, please notify the treasurer at the church 204-534-6347. If you are a Credit Union member, ask them to change the memo section to include your name. Thank you.
