St. Paul’s Church decision is made by 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening if possible, or Sunday morning, if necessary, based on conditions Saturday evening and the condition’s forecast for Sunday morning.

In the event of a cancellation and with our regular Minister, an option of live streaming/recording will be available to view, in lieu of an in-person service.

Cancellation of Church Service Will Occur When:

  • Temperatures with wind chill are forecasted to reach minus 38 according to Environment Canada.
  • Road conditions and/or visibility impede travel
  • Deep snow/ice cannot be cleared from church entrance or for parking

The Decision Makers are the Worship Team in consultation with the Minister, and/or the Caretaker who must clear the entrance in case of a snowstorm. The cancellation will be posted on Facebook, distributed by Email/Text/Phone call as required, and announced on CJRB.

Donations are being accepted for the next garage sale and can be dropped off at the church.  Books/puzzles (excluding recipe books), household items (including small furniture), etc greatly appreciated.

Donations are being accepted for the stained-glass window covering.  Your donation can be mailed to St. Paul’s United Church, Box 309, Boissevain MB, R0K 0E0 or dropped off at the church office.  Thank you in advance.

St. Paul’s Sunday School is looking for volunteers to lead Sunday School 2-3 times a month. If you are interested in this wonderful opportunity please contact Karen Kempe.

We would like to invite any and all people who would like to be a Reader during Sunday Service or a Greeter prior to Worship. Congregational involvement is always valued. We also feel it would be beneficial to have a Greeter each Sunday to welcome all those attending our service and provide newcomers with information re coffee, washrooms, hearing devices, Sunday School – if children are attending, and be available to answer any questions that may arise. Sign-up sheet will be in the foyer starting Sept 7/25 or contact Maxine at the church office.  We thank you in advance for assisting when possible.

Karen Kempe’s business cards are on the table in the foyer of the church and also on the ledge inside the CE building door.  Please help yourself.
