About Our Organization

Our Search

The search process in the UCC is a blend of employment work and spiritual work. We use the word call to reflect that distinct blend of the practical and the sacred. A congregation does not hire a new minister but calls a minister, following a careful business-like search that is infused with prayerful attention to God’s direction. Candidates do not seek a new job but enter into an employment process in order to be rooted in new ways within God’s call. For your church and for the candidates, the search and call process is a spiritual journey that trusts God to be an active participant.

St. Paul's United Church

Since its construction of local sandstone in 1893, St. Paul’s United (Methodist) Church has stood as a beacon of heritage and spirituality in our community. Our historic sanctuary holds the echoes of generations past, echoing with prayers and praises from those who came before us. Yet, within these ancient walls, we cultivate a living faith—a faith that evolves, grows, and resonates with the challenges and triumphs of modern life.

At St. Paul’s United (Methodist) Church, we honor our rich history while embracing the vitality of our present-day faith community. Each worship service, fellowship gathering, and outreach initiative is infused with the spirit of our ancestors and the energy of today’s believers. Together, we continue the legacy of those who have gone before us, while forging new pathways of faith and service for generations to come.

Our Vision:

As we look to the future, our vision for St. Paul’s United (Methodist) Church is one of continued growth, renewal, and impact. We aspire to be a dynamic force for good in our community, empowering individuals to live out their faith boldly and compassionately.

Whether you are a longtime member or a newcomer seeking spiritual nourishment, we invite you to join us on this journey of faith, hope, and love at St. Paul’s United (Methodist) Church. Together, let us celebrate our past, embrace our present, and look forward to a future filled with God’s grace and blessings.

The Teaming Church

In this model people volunteer to a team that interests them. It is hoped that people will commit to the teams one year at a time with the exclusion of the Community Building Team which is very much a project to project team.
